A shortcut for "nice" denominators
If the denominator divides into 100, scale it up: 7/20 = 35/100 = 35%, and 3/25 = 12/100 = 12%. For eighths and thirds, remember 1/8 = 12.5% and 1/3 = 33 1/3%, and multiply.
